We advised ENGIE on the acquisition of Terna Peru and its Aguaytía-Pucallpa transmission line
We advised ENGIE Energía Perú S.A., one of the largest electricity generation companies in the country, on the acquisition by ENGIE Transmisión Perú S.A. of 100% of the shares issued by Terna Perú S.A.C., the company that holds the concession of the “Aguaytía-Pucallpa 138 kV” electricity transmission line (Second Circuit), located in the Ucayali region.
Our advisory included comprehensive support in all aspects of the transaction, including due diligence, negotiation and the signing of the share purchase agreement. The agreement was signed with the Italian companies Terna Plus S.R.L. and Rete S.R.L., and the closing is subject to compliance with the conditions established for the completion of the operation.
With our advice, the client was able to expand its portfolio and strengthen its presence in the electricity transmission sector in Peru.
The PRCP team that oversaw the advisory was made up of our partners Juan Antonio Egüez, Guillermo Arribas and Michelle Aramburú, and our associate Camila Flores.
